Five phases that cover the full picture

Password strength is only one piece. The checklist covers all five: password strength, password manager, two factor authentication, breach exposure, and account hygiene. Each phase has 3 to 4 specific checks with a tick box. Length and reuse, whether your passwords live in a proper manager or your browser, whether 2FA protects your email and banking, whether your passwords have already appeared in a breach, and whether old accounts and unknown sessions are quietly leaving doors open.

A scored result, not a vague feeling

Count your ticks and the checklist tells you where you stand. 15 to 18 means your accounts are locked down and a recheck every 6 months is enough. 10 to 14 means you have gaps to close this week. 0 to 9 means you are exposed and one breach could take multiple accounts at once. No jargon, no scare tactics, just a clear number and what to do about it.

The breach exposure phase walks you through checking your email at Have I Been Pwned, the free service that tracks billions of leaked credentials from real data breaches. Page 2 also covers the four signs an account is already compromised: password reset emails you never requested, login alerts from unknown devices, contacts receiving messages you never sent, and forwarding rules that changed on their own.
